Perspicuum was founded because we saw that small and medium-sized businesses make decisions every day—without the data to support those decisions. We wanted to change that. Here are the people who do that every day.
Ole Hartmann – CEO
Ole Hartmann is a numbers person through and through—and that’s by choice, not by chance.
His career began as a bank clerk, continued with a degree in business administration, and included several leadership positions in finance, controlling, and IT at well-known companies, ultimately leading to the founding of Perspicuum Solutions. A common thread running through all of this is his ability to cut through business complexity—and turn it into a clear basis for decision-making.
As a change manager, he has led transformation and optimization projects, particularly in challenging business situations. Most recently, as Director of Controlling & BI, he once again led a project in “rescue mode”—before bringing that experience to perspicuum.
Through Perspicuum Solutions, he is leveraging this experience with a clear goal: to help small and medium-sized businesses and companies operating internationally manage their businesses more effectively through better data.
Ole Hartmann is also a lecturer at FOM University in Cologne and serves as a volunteer lay judge at the local district court. He is married and has one son.
Prasanna Mariyappa – CTO
Prasanna Mariyappa does what very few people can do: He understands what a CFO needs—and translates that into code. And then back to information that a BI user can actually read.
He was first introduced to BI during his master’s program and deepened his expertise over more than a decade at companies operating internationally—as a data warehouse developer and BI consultant for clients in the finance, insurance, and manufacturing industries.
In 2018, he moved to Germany, where he was responsible for the development and management of the company-wide data warehouse at an international communications technology manufacturer.
As CTO at Perspicuum Solutions, he is responsible for all technical aspects of digital transformation—from ETL architectures to data warehouses and OLAP cubes to AI models. He is the reason Perspicuum doesn’t just consult—it actually delivers.
Prasanna is from South India and lives in Wuppertal with his wife and two children.
