Strategy

A good strategy is the basis for successful BI projects

If the goal is not clearly defined, even the best technical solution cannot realise its full potential. A BI strategy is the cornerstone for the successful introduction or expansion of BI. It takes into account both the company as a whole and:

  • the formal data and system infrastructure,
  • data governance,
  • underlying target and expectation parameters for future reporting and strategic
    and strategic
  • content-related and organisational corporate aspects.

We advise and support you in the initial creation as well as in the revision of existing BI strategies. Together we make a professional and technical inventory of your current situation and requirements and compare your individual requirements and situations with the existing BI options.

The introduction of a Business Intelligence solution takes place in several phases:

Step 1 | Kick off phase

We start with a one- to two-day workshop. Here we define goals, determine the status quo, your wishes and requirements and outline a rough roadmap. Based on the results, we formulate a BI strategy and lay the foundation for a successful project and long-term use of the system.

Step 2 | Roadmap

Then we divide the roadmap into project phases with detailed effort estimation and scheduling and create the resource planning of all project members.

Step 3 | Implementation

In the third step, we realise the project from both a business and technical point of view and implement the system in your company. Along the way, you receive continuous monitoring of the performance status on the basis of the individual sub-project phases.

Live phase | Support and advice

After the go-live, we will continue to support you in a trustworthy manner. Our support can be purely advisory or in an active role, for example the operational administration of the data warehouse environment, the monitoring or implementation of optimisation projects or the handling of further BI projects.

BI prototype

Already during the evaluation process, you receive a first tangible draft as a perspective result by means of a BI prototype and can thus understand the successful course of the project at an early stage.
